Kinhtedothi - On October 10, 2023, the People's Committee of Hoan Kiem District (Hanoi) issued Decision No. 2188/QĐ-UBND, approving the establishment of the Hoan Kiem District Tourism Association.

The Hoan Kiem District Tourism Association is a social organization that operates based on its Charter approved by the Hoan Kiem District People's Committee. It adheres to legal regulations and is subject to the state management of the Hoan Kiem District People's Committee and relevant departments within its field of activities.

The Hoan Kiem District Tourism Association has legal status, its own seal, and bank account in accordance with current State regulations. The Association is financially self-sufficient, managing its own funds, office, and operational resources. The decision was signed on October 10, 2023, and took effect from that date.

According to representatives of the Founding Committee of the Hoan Kiem District Tourism Association, the Association will serve as a bridge between businesses, organizations, and individuals legally engaged in tourism, tourism services, and related fields, and the relevant authorities to address challenges, create favorable conditions, and ensure sustainable and effective business operations for its members.

The Association also aims to contribute to promoting and enhancing the image of tourism, improving the quality of tourism services in Hoan Kiem District, and contributing to the socio-economic development of the capital and the country. Additionally, the Association fosters connections, cooperation, and mutual support in terms of economy, technology, business, and services, stabilizes the market, enhances the value and quality of tourism products, and improves the competitiveness of its members both domestically and internationally. It also represents and protects the legitimate rights and interests of its members in accordance with the law.

According to representatives of the Founding Committee, the decision to establish the Hoan Kiem District Tourism Association is even more meaningful to its members as it was signed on October 10, 2023, coinciding with the 69th anniversary of Hanoi’s Liberation Day (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2023).
