The Hanoi Tirant Hotel

Tirant Hotel has been welcoming guests since its establishment in early 2011. Conveniently situated on Gia Ngu Street—translated to "Fish Village" in Vietnamese—our location is rich in historical significance, having once served as a residential area for fishermen and their families. In the 1800s, the area experienced the occlusion of a central pond, which led to the emergence of a long road that has undergone various name changes before finally being designated as Gia Ngu. Notably, this street was originally named Tirant (pronounced “Tai-rang”), in honor of a French general from the colonial era. We chose this historically resonant name for our hotel to ensure it remains both memorable and distinctive: TIRANT HOTEL.
