Job Fair
On August 17 and 17, 2024, the Hoan Kiem District Tourism Association coordinated with Hanoi University of Natural Resources and Environment to organize a Career Orientation Day for recent graduates.
At the event, many students from the Tourism and Foreign Language faculties came to visit and learn about some job opportunities in the Tourism industry. This was also an opportunity for the Hoan Kiem District Tourism Association to promote the Association's businesses and image to the public.
Through discussions with students at the school, it was learned that the need for internships and work in the right profession is very high. Students often proactively seek out part-time work opportunities from their second year of university to accumulate knowledge and experience for themselves. After being introduced to some typical hotels and yachts of the Association members, the students were extremely surprised and excited because they did not expect their school to be able to connect and receive attention from such big brands.
On the morning of August 18, representatives of the University of Natural Resources and Environment also visited the booth of the Hoan Kiem District Tourism Association to visit, encourage and present a souvenir to the Association for the Association's contributions to the overall success of the event. Through the sharing of Dr. VU DANH TUYEN, the Vice Principal of the school, said that this was the first time the school organized this program, so there were still many surprises. Every year, the school trains thousands of students in various fields, of which the Faculty of Tourism is one of the faculties that receives a lot of attention and attention. With a very large number of students each year, about 600 students, the school hopes to cooperate with the Hoan Kiem Association more, through seminars to share with students so that they can have solid career orientations as well as opportunities to intern or work officially after graduation. On behalf of the school, the Vice Principal would like to express sincere thanks to the comrades in the Association's executive board as well as all members of the Association. On behalf of the Association, Ms. Thanh Tam, the Association's president, would like to acknowledge the affection, attention and cooperation from the school and the organizing committee, which created conditions for the Association to have a booth and have the opportunity to share opportunities and find newly graduated students to intern and work at the Association's affiliated facilities. Hopefully, through the event, it will be a bridge to help students have more opportunities and better orientation in the future.
